WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
We are not a normal gym. We are all about personal attention. CrossFit is a lifestyle where people are prioritizing their health. It’s a fun way to get fit. The last person finishing is just as important as the first one. It’s this team atmosphere that ends up making you better as an individual. People walk through the door and say, “Hey, where are all of the machines?” We’re the machines.
WORKOUT OF THE DAY (WOD)
The “WOD” is the “workout of the day.” Each day a new WOD is posted, and it’s part of a complete program designed to improve strength and conditioning. The WOD can be scaled (adjusted) to provide a suitable challenge for athletes at any level.

WHO ARE WE?
CrossFit Zeeburg is a high-class CrossFit box where quality and safety always come first. We’re located in Zeeburg in the eastern part of Amsterdam with the mission of helping as many people as possible prioritizing their health. We want to give you an experience that is both fun and motivating. Chances are you’ll want to come back the next day for more!
We keep our classes small with a maximum number of people of 12 per class. We do this on purpose to keep the quality of coaching as high as possible. With larger groups there will always be 2 trainers to coach during the WOD to give each individual person as much personal attention as needed.
MEET OUR AWESOME TRAINERS
Jeroen is his cat’s biggest fan, loves learning new stuff and teaching others what he just learned. He also loves lifting heavy weights, eating great food, drinking his espresso’s and of course CrossFit. And he would love to meet you in person @ CrossFit Zeeburg!
Ruben loves to coach others to help them develop themselves. He fell in love with CrossFit three years ago and CrossFit Zeeburg is his dream come true. Besides CrossFit he loves his kids, cars and basically everything which allows you to travel at illegal speeds.
WORLD-CLASS FITNESS IN 100 WORDS
“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, clean and jerk, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climbs, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.”
